How do you place blocks outside of the stadium?

Hi,

I would like to know how to place blocks out of bounds. When I try to do this with challange edit, the block simply disappears.
What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: Also, I want to apply a mod, holding control while opening it only gives me the option sunrise, day, sunrise and night..

Afaik only blocks which have an attachment to grass can be placed outside the stadium. Dirt blocks also have an attachment to grass so you can place them outside the stadium too. The only thing you have to do is to incease the x,z or y value of those particular blocks over the value that is normally accepted inside the editor.

Concerning the mod issue: Do you have any mods inside your Documents\TrackMania\Skins\stadium\mod folder? Or rather, when you create a new track, do you have the option to choose custom mods?
