HELP - Glass windows

Postby koke » 21.03.2014, 18:49

Hi riders. I have an issue with glass/windows that i hadnt before. Sometimes the glass is invisible for me, and i dont know why. It depends of my position, but most of the time they are invisible, like this:

But if i move a bit, it appears again:

I tried to reinstall my graphic drivers and the mod, but nothing changed.
Anyone knows why is this happening?

Thanks in advance.

hmm strange issue. Did you change anything in your TM settings recently?
Also, is there any pattern to when you encounter this? For example if the windows are always transparent in the distance and appear when being close to them...?

Same settings as always. And they are transparent in the distance, but they dont always appear when im closer. It depends somehow on the car position - i switched between cameras in a standing position and they are still transparent.

Edit: I played this map some time ago and everything was fine. I havent tried with others maps to see if this happens too.
Ive tried with the editor, and it looks fine:

You should check out other maps first...maybe it is just this one map that has this problem. Then we would have the error source narrowed down.

Ive tried Nos Astra and i get the same problem. And this is the only game im having issues. That map worked fine the last time i played as well.

Edit: I fixed the problem using an older graphics driver.

As koke has already written...he was able to fix the problem by downgrading his graphics driver.
Does anyone else have this problem or is it just koke?
This is really important because if too many people have this issue then we can't use this specific material anymore in the future (the material has partial transparency...that's what caused the bug probably).

So...if anyone else sees this bug, please report immediately in this thread! Thank you :)

I have the same problem now, in editor I can see it from the distance and close to it but on server i cant see glass when i am close to it but when I am far I can. I'll try downgrade graphic driver if this will continue to be a problem.
