I'll start then..

I didn't award many tracks last year. Even the ones I did award missed some part of what I consider to be a great RPG track, and this track is no exception! ?(
The story is naff, there's a nice mod (but I'd seen it before), there's little MT effort, and to be honest, you're just driving down corridors until you get to the end! :huh:

So what makes it so special then?

It's SO chock full of imaginative, interesting, unusual, unseen and challenging tricks that you just HAVE to see it through to the end. And the end IS rubbish, BUT the journey is SO brilliant that the end is easily forgotten.
My track award says
"Not so much an RPG as an RPG assault course. Cool mixes to test yourself against and steal for you own track."
I stand by that.
Only 9 awards as I write this.

My (Non RPG) 'RPG track of the year' (for me) is [RPG] Corridors by Nunquam
(I'm writing this as the 4F week comp is still running, and it's competing with one of mine , so it must be good if I'm plugging it!)

For me there can only be 1 map that was the best of 2011.

It completely redefined my idea of what a trackmania RPG could be. That map is Driv3r

So original with how it gave you an entire city to explore and find the next CP. Have never had as much fun on a first run as I had with Driv3r, it is a true masterpiece.

The best RPG map of the last year is RPG Africa by LOgan

What do you think? It's the track I hunted most in my life (or is that Impuzuzuzuzuzabzlble?)

- DRIVER for the best big work and story
- GRIMBERGEN for the best pathfinding :rolleyes:
- and KABAL for the fun to drive
