Hey guys, iam an ESL Admin and we search RPG-Maps for Cups. Do you can build an RPG-Map for this? 60 Min time and after this 60 min win the 3 fastest times. The Map should be easy, but not to easy. In the Cups drive many rookies, so they must find the way. The Pros should be drive in they first try a time around 20 min. The rookies between 30-40 min. It would be great, if you can answer me .

Sure, that would be nice. The first Cup starts at the 18. august but this cups are every wednesday.

So it's a regular event, hope I am available on Wednesdays ^^

Why can't you use excising maps?

We wanne use unreleased maps, because all players should have the same chance to win

Well.... I would not drive an untested RPG map for a competition.. it's like driving a beta map (and if there is beta tests, then everybody suddenly doesn't have the same chance to win)

Any Admin will testing the map, and the best map will be driven there and the admins dont drive, they only organize this event. U can be sure, that there is a good map.

Then why don't u just announce the map 1 week ahead, so everybody has time to get to know it

Because the first events are for the drivers, who dosnt know what ist RPG. If the cup is successful, then we make other Cups, with released Maps, and so on.

Build a map in 12 days sounds like a nice challenge to me, I will see if I can :p

I THINK i can finish the map i am builing in 12 days, but im not sure because i want to partecipate to the cup ^^

So a "pro" should drive it in 20 min 1st try, then we talk about a 7-10 min #1 dedi map I guess?
Quite hard in 12 days, if we talk about a real storybased RPG with MT work and so on...(sure depending on the quality).

Or do we talk about a trial track with a mod? Sounds for me more like that.

If you can finish a Story in 12 Days, it would be very fine, but a RPG-Map with a nice skin and a nice flow is good too.

why a news map ? isn't like a Race map, ppl prefer play old maps

I think so too. New maps are much too hard to check for cuts, bugs, and so on.
And its very much work to do good RPG
