The Microsoft Xbox 360 gamepad is quite expensive but it's very good.

If you are searching for a cheaper solution, try Logitech's gamepads (dunno much about it) or if you had a Playstation 2, you just need to buy a PS2 to USB adapter (it's very cheap).

Yes, it can be done. But you need some sort of plugin i think.

urrgh.. i found out that all my controllers are wireless.. any hope for me?

PS3 controllers work with bluetooth 2.0 + EDR. It may be possible to conenct it with a cpu including bluetooth connection or with a usb/bluetooth adapter. Maybe google knows how to do that coz i dont know how to establish the connection between pc and ps3 pad with bluetooth ^^'

i tried, it didn't work at my PC. But my friend could use his sixaxis pad @ the PC. You need a special software for it.
