Someone who has still "Blue Moon"?

Once there was a project with several builders in bay called blue moon (or sth with cobalt?)

I dont have it any more and it was never released, I would be interrested in seeing it again as it was actually finished I think.

Someone here who still has it?

That's not the full track, is it?
Reading this reminded me of the track, and I checked my PMs with occam to see what ever happened to this track.

I hope occam doesn't kill me for quoting him:
...as i said....i will try to find a bit time... well...would have to be more than a little...we would have to gather all the willing United RPG fans ... it is a small group anyway...but maybe we manage...after Kacklappen Cup and Heavens Triathlon...hopefully not another mayor event will emerge :- P

That message was from November 2010, and it's a bit strange that nothing happened afterwards =p

I'll send a pm to occam and see if anything might happen with the track. Because AFAIK it's finished. At least 1 version is. =)

EDIT
@Golo: I'm sure occam sent you the password to the TMUFX-account with the track at some point, so just check your PM-inbox ;)

I'm giving myself the responsibility of launching the track(s) as soon as I can! But if anyone want to give me a helping hand that'd be wonderful because I cannot do all on my own.
A server will be needed for the premiere, and maybe this will involve a competition of some sort. I'm not sure how such a competition would work out, so I can't say if there will be any.
As for the server, that is a thing I do not have, and I would be very glad if someone here have or knows someone with a server available for a premiere ^_^

As for the track itself, it's 95-100% finished, although occam mentioned something about a mod for the track which is something which will be preferred of the track are to be released =p

At the moment I can't say anything more as I'll have to speak with all other participants of the track before I can confirm that anything is going to happen at all, but hopefully it will =)

hey guys!

it's cool to see that you're picking up the work again, and i can't wait for the release! if i can help you out in some way i'd be glad to do so!

right now i cannot help you with a server, but since i'm working on a gigantic stadium rpg track as well, which is nearly finished, i'm looking for a server as well. and if i would find one, i might be able to use it as well for this map.

i will keep you up to date!

have a nice day, JJ

edit: for my own track, i'm still looking for someone who can convert a 3ds max model to a trackmania car. if someone could help me with that, i'll be glad to pay for a 24/7 server!

Did i even have a account here or not..?

Nice to know someone cares about this project :) It's been some time to be honest ^^

The latest track on the TMUFX account is from 25th August 2010, and is not the latest version. I remember there was at some point a road which went up to the center tower finish. If you already have the latest version, then nvm this :pinch:

Maybe eyebo could host the track for some time, if his server is not too busy.

For JJ's issue, i don't have any experience with exporting 3d models other than using Blender for TMUF :P It's pretty problematic to import 3ds files into Blender too.

Did you check the Beta Area? A few versions remained hidden there =P

---
Blender is definitively not the place to start for converting 3d-models. I know there was a plugin making it possible, but it only worked for older versions of Blender. (this was about 1,5 year ago so things might have changed?)

I think it's possible to have Autodesk 3dsmax for a 30-day trial period, so that might work.

I know there are other softwares, but it's been a while so I don't know all of them ^_^

small update: I am now in possession of the mod, so this means I am indeed making progress (somewhat).
