how to edit the skid marks

ok so:
which file edits the skid marks (green) on the ground,
and which edits that black circle (red) in the air?

thanks in advance =)

no it's not a new track.

For the green dot = StadiumFabricsD.dds

for the red dot (the entire block) = StadiumWarpAuvent2D (not sure at 100%-need to be confirm)
***if it's the small pole on the side = StadiumStructureAlphaD.dds

***if it's the small region you put your red dot on = StadiumWarpStands2.dds

I was talking about the skid marks, not the ground itself
and I don't think that file does anything to the circle, because then it would also be transparent as the rest...

and cba to watch that whole video, it's far too long :<

to finaly answer your question :

the black circle is a part of StadiumRoadDetailsD(I have put a pink color on it)
it's the big circle in down-left-corner of the image.dds

TheSkid marks can't be put in a mod but for only your own game.
It's inside C:\Program Files\TmNationsForever\GameData\Vehicles\Media\Texture\Image
The file are:
*AsphaltMarks.dds and AsphaltSmoke.dds For skid mark on road (as showen in your pic)
*DirtMarks.dds and DirtSmoke.dds (for the skid mark on dirt)
but as i said ive already try in a mod an did'nt change.
But you can edit it for your own game ;) (don't forget backups)

A trick to your next search of fabrics....
Do what i did: open all textures from C:\Program Files\TmNationsForever\GameData\Stadium\Media\Texture\Image in your photoshop or photo editor and watch them ;) note them, that'S what i did to learn ;)


Sorry but the first time (and im french speaking) i did'nt understand skid mark, that's why i tought you were talking about the base textures ;)

Thanks; exactly what I needed to know :)
The only thing I find weird is why skid marks can't be in a mod, while dirt marks can...
but I got my answer, so now I can finish this mod =)

Np!

The only reason i can see why those textures/fx can't be in the mod, is that the files require to change it are in the Game directory and not in "my documents/Trackmania...."

but...i will try to find a way ;)
