about the Sound function

Hi,

I've started my new RPG, it's already 2 minutes-long... But I have now a problem, because I want to be sure that what I try will work, and otherwise not continuing what I had expected for and just continue the track as something else...

I'm really a noob with the MediaTracker, and with specific things of TrackMania generally, the only thing I have understood until now is how to blockmix, put a mod and create a locator so... I never understood how to create a mod, even with tutorials in my language ?( I forsook

I've seen that there were a Sound function, I have asked Igntul how it worked, he told me this could be music, means I can put different musics at different part of the tracks... i need to know how to put a music in a track using the sound function ? Do I have to create locator again etc ? ?( I don't understand how it works :wacko:

First convert the musicfile you want to the .ogg format. U could use Sony Vegas for that. (It has a 30-day free trial period I think)

Upload it somewhere

Create the locator (filename.ogg.loc)
Save it in "TrackMania/MediaTracker/Sounds"

Yeah do exactly what vklf said but as i told in-game in each sound clip select the option Music... I Will show u some screenshots later when i come back home, now i'm writing with my phone ;p
