MT problem - end of race clip

Hi all,

I've got a small MT problem that I'd like some advice on.

At the end of my latest Story RPG I have an MT clip which does a few things then fades to white as you hit the finish line. I have a trigger on the finish line that starts another clip to carry on the white and does a few other things too (sorry, no spoilers for you, it's a surprise.) :)


The problem.
When I drive the MT from the last cp it works perfectly, but when I validate the track from the start, the clip that triggers on the finish line doesn't run, the fade to white stops and the finish line is shown, completely destroying the climax to the story. Testing changes for this is a pain from the start as I have to run the whole track and that takes 15mins :(

Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong? Have I got the trigger in the wrong place (It's in the 'in game' MT section, not 'end of race' section)? The End of game MT section is empty.

when u cross the finishline every MT stops. so u need to put it a bit in front imo. :)

or another way would be to use a multilap start, then u don

Thats the issue i have, every time i make a change to get my outro working i have to drive again for 15 minutes only to find then change didn't work.

And i am beginning to get bored of my map :)

Disco,

I exported the 2 clips, then made a simple track and imported them back in.
Individually, the clips are perfect, but as soon as you stick a finish line in, they don't run together. :(

I'm having to re think my ending, which is a shame. Thing is, I can't find an example track that continues the post finish MT immediatelt after the pre finish MT. Which suggests you can't do it.

If only a had a Dose around when you need him :)
